Goddess is the best of what theater is a nuanced story filled with relatable people the audience roots for, cares about and relates to.  Now add a killer score with some of the best singing voices in the world and you have the precious gem that is Goddess. Nadira (Amber Imran, 2024 Tony Nominee for Lempicka) a mysterious singer arrives at Moto Moto the coolest Afro-jazz club in Mombasa Kenya. Her voice bewitches everyone including Omari (Austin Scott, Girl from the North Country) a young man who has returned home to fulfill his parents' wishes for him to take on the family business, politics. He is set to run for governor with the blessing and support of his father who is also the current governor. But Omari’s first secret love is playing music on his saxophone at Moto Moto.
